London-based flautist Helen Vidovich performs internationally as an orchestral and chamber musician. Career highlights include performances at the Sydney Opera House and Royal Albert Hall, and work with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra. Helen appears on albums on the Meridian and NMC labels, and the recent disc of music by Michael Finnissy with vocalist Lotte Betts-Dean on the Métier label. Received with acclaim in Gramophone, “the persuasive assurance of these performers and their technical assistants is consistently of the highest calibre”, the album also received 5-stars in the BBC Music Magazine. Helen is a founding member of the Marsyas Trio, currently Ensemble in Residence at Cambridge and Leeds Universities. The ensemble’s work has been supported by Arts Council England, PRSF, HMUK, the Britten-Pears Foundation and RVW Trust, with concert highlights in Europe, Asia, USA, UK festivals and live TV & Radio, including BBC3.
Helen undertook postgraduate studies at the Royal Academy of Music in London, following a Master’s degree at the Sydney Conservatorium. In 2022-23 Helen was an Artist By-Fellow at Churchill College, Cambridge University. She is currently taking part in a 2-year mentorship program with the London Symphony Orchestra.
